Malaysia : Stylomannavan Superfly

Born on the 24th of November 1984, Yuhan Prakash or Stylomannavan Superfly from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia no more a stranger as he clutches the microphone on stage with KL City close to his heart, he never knew Rhythm And Poetry would be even closer to him. Before getting into the music industry, Stylomannavan was so inspired by Michael Jackson that he picked up B-Boy and was breakdancing his way for the love of the art. Eventually one of his childhood friend Prakash Raja a.k.a Krush KRZ approached him and suggested try rapping as Stylomannavan knew Mr.Yogi B in person. With Stylomannavan, Krush KRZ and Oriya, Karmatic Ryderz (KRZ) took birth. KRZ started performing in collages and university shows and instantly gained popularity among the industry insiders and teenagers.

Years passed on with stage performances until Stylomannavan got involved with an album compilation,Zurazamharam by Dr. Burn. Stylomannavan got his hands into two tracks, Thundaclap feat. Dr. Burn and Big K and a collaborated track with Shevan Raj on Vaigasi Maasam feat. Sharanya. Both this songs were heavily rotated on air. The blend of attitude and voice by both Stylomannavan and Shevan Raj caught many industry insiders and both of them decided to form a DUO called The-One. And eventually Switch of Lock Up introduced the duo to DJ T-Bone, CEO of KartelHitmenRecords.
Impressed with the duo’s ability, DJ T-Bone produced the first track Arambam by Stylomannavan and Shevan Raj feat. Helen. Nothing less to be expected. Heavy rotations on air again. DJ T-Bone decided to permanently pair up both Stylomannavan and Shevan Raj and DIWAN took its birth. In the year 2009, DIWAN launched their album “PAARTHU ( WATCHOUT)” featuring top local acts such as Joe Flizzow a.k.a JFK of Kartel Records, Sasi The Don, MC Syze, Switch Lock Up, Xavier Lock Up, Masta K, Dr. Burn, Dhilip Varman, Helen, Thila Laxman.

Diwan went on a nationwide promotional tour for their album and Arambam went No 1 in Raaga Malaysian Top 10 list consecutively for 8 weeks followed by Vaanmathi feat.Dhilip Varman. Following year 2010 Diwan was in the nominees for AIM AWARDS for the best Malaysian Indian Album. After the huge success of DIWAN, both Stylomannavan and ShevanRaj decided to take a break while pursuing their progress on their own. Shevan Raj is now known as Sheezay of Psycho Unit while Stylomannavan added Superfly to his stage name as it suits him and also indicates his humble progress in the industry.
While building up his own musical career, Stylomannavan was grooming up 4 new upcomers, bridging two cities, KL and Ipoh together. Superfly introduced them on stage as IllayaHustlaz; Lil Siriyavan, Bayne, Young King and Vinndicator and made them gain experience through stage performances and underground shows. In the year 2009 Sivadas, Stylomannavan Superfly, Bayne and Vinndicator founded the Flow Hustla Entertainment which has now launched a project for IllayaHustlaz.

Right after the hustlaz project, Aatithiyanz project will take place. Aatithiyanz consist of Jay, Gomagan and Nith. Stylomannavan Superfly has not got into any new SOLO projects yet as he is giving his full concentration for the hustlaz project. But Superfly is currently doin a track with his old group member Krush Krz for another hit track.Stylomannavan doesn’t seem to take a break anyway.
